red bull while breastfeeding

So I just have a question.. is it safe to have like 1 redbull a day while breastfeeding? Some ppl say it's ok... and my husband says no just in case .... but I been craving them... anyone know?

I do. I have brought them to my kids pedi appointments and he never said its bad to bf with.

I guess my logic is if you can have an alcoholic drink and still BF a red bull is fine

no. Anything you eat or drink, the baby takes in too! If you want to drink a red bull, then you need to pump a few ounces for the baby to drink while the red bull is in your system. (unless you want the baby to be up all night...)

My kids have never been up all night from them. Milk screen.

My kid has NEVER been affected by my caffeine intake or if I take benedryl. Nothing.

Ahh. Everytime I drank anything with caffine in it, my son got hyped up.

I'm sure one is fine. If it's not necessary to pump & dump after an alcoholic drink or 2, then I'm sure 1 redbull will not give your baby wings ;-)

You must have some crazy-strong legs just from that :-)

Maybe if you spread it out throughout the day instead of drinking it all at one time? I wouldn't drink a whole can but sometimes I'll take a sip our two if my husband gets one.

Seriously. I die trying to breathe doing it LOL. My husband has some decent muscle from all the grocery and baby lugging though.
