How to identify CM?

*TMI alert* I have a 29 day cycle & I ovulate on CD16. Right now my CM is white & creamy, I'm on CD11. What does that mean? Im new to this & Im so sorry for being graphic!

I think it starts out white creamy, next watery, and then egg-white like when you are ovulating.
