um no, I do not think if I went it would prevent him from being safer all together but driving 4 days by yourself?! come on, please stop trying to act like im overreacting. if he was going with me or someone else, its better then just being out in the middle of damn nowhere with people then just being by yourself. and if you get tired, the other person can take over. he likes to think he is unstoppable and stay awake...which has happened before when we went and I needed to tell him to pull over and let me drive.

Can his family come see you guys instead? I wouldn't want to be away from my husband for a month, and I don't think my husband would leave our kids for a month.

Maybe tell him HE has to pay for you to have a nanny for that month to help you out, it's the least he could do

no im not preg with twins, they are here, well and 2 1/2 lol. I just never update my page, sorry. I hear horrible stories as well and that's why I am even more upset about it....especially now that he is driving all those days to get there instead of just taking a plane and getting there the same day!

I have to say if that was my husband driving for days I would be extremely worried. What person wouldn't be? It on takes a split second for something awful to happen on the road. I would feel a hell of a lot at ease if he went by airplane rather than driving by himself.

He's visiting his family in a perfectly fine country. He's not having beers with the cartel.

You obviously don't see the news I do. There are hundreds of people found murdered daily down there, some drug related, others just bad place bad time

Kidnapping people is a HUGE hobby/past time on top of it, especially anyone they think is american.

Is he driving there or is he flying? From where? Toluca is a safe city...I live about 45 minutes from there and its safe.

Driving from a border city is very freaking dangerous. He has to travel through many states in Mexico that are extremely dangerous. Most of central and southern Mexico is safe but the North is dangerous as hell. People get killed all the time like that.
Why doesnt he fly there instead?
