Cocktail Hatching?

Our mama bird finally left the eggs to eat so I climbed on a chair and took a peek in their box.

One the four eggs was slightly shaking and when I put my ear to the cage I can hear baby chirps from the eggs. The patent birds weren't making any noise and two people heard the baby chirps.


How much longer until it hatches!!?

Maybe a couple hours. Its a slow process but some little birds are faster than others.

I raised a baby canary from freshly hatched (she hatched late, the mommy refused to feed her so I had to step in) and she was the friendliest little bird in the world.

Aw that's so exciting! I tried to breed and hatch some Cockaties when I was in high school but the female would always loose interest in the eggs and leave them or crush them
