Give someone something they clearly needed (ie, winter coat for a little kid) but they were easily offended... what would you do?

Happy early birthday? Happy Valentines?
Give it as those type of gifts is what I mean.

I would leave it on their front porch.

I would say "This is for (kid's name), not you, so please don't be offended... and if you are, I'm sorry, but (kid's name) needs it more than your pride." Some people need to learn to swallow it.

Yeh I would drop it off anonymously so they couldnt be offended at anyone LOL

Yeah, I think I'm just going to leave it at their door. It's an apartment complex but I'll just leave it in a paper bag rolled up.

Or maybe you could be like.. "Hey, my sister (or whoever) had this in her closet and we were trying to think of someone who could fit in it instead of throwing it out. I thought maybe you could?"

Say you won a contest online but none of the stuff would fit your child so you're giving it to her.
