Watching* I'm always afraid I'm not getting DS's teeth clean enough because he HATES me brushing them and throws massive fits every time!

my son had this on two of his bottom teeth. I took him to the dentist and had it scaled off
hasn't come back yet yay! it was just plaque build up even though I brushed them a lot

He's 13 months. And the dentist prescribed it because we apparently don't have fluoride in our water.

fluoride is really bad for you! My son is over 3 and still uses the non fluoride toothpaste

he doesnt need to be on floride until hes 2 but as for the stuff on his teeth its probably plaque

Yah it's not good! especially when being digested like through water or vitamin.

I use fluoride tooth paste because I get horrible cavities but I try to rinse a lot and not swallow it. I still hate using it though.

My LO has never used it and hasn't had a cavity yet. Just brush at least twice a day and use those little flossers. He will probably need to see a dentist about the plaque build up but they can remove it easily. Maybe just wait until he's a little older. My son had his 6 months before I had them remove it and it did no damage.

Ok, thanks for the advice.   I was freaking out about it and trying to make it come off, but it won't. I'll just take him to the dentist and see what he says.
