My son used his left hand for pretty much everything as a baby, we tried to get him to use his right more, but he's not 5 and left handed. My 18 month old uses his right hand for everything.

my son used both hands until 2 - 2.5

now he only uses his right. He always favoured the right a little more but took awhile before he used it all the time

DD did everything with her left hand until she was about a year old. Now she does everything with both

My son has always used both hands to point and everything. Now at almost 3 it's the same. He colors with his left but feeds himself with his right. I don't sway him either way. If he's left handed cool, right handed awesome, both just as great.

My oldest used both hands equally until she was 3. That's about the time she started displaying dominance in her right hand.

My daughter used to use her left hand for most things when she was a toddler. She got my mum and SO all excited that she was a lefty like them. SO tried to encourage her to keep using her left because apparently if you are left handed it means you are smarter lol ... but she is 5 now and uses her right.

My twins both favor their right hand.
I'm bummed about that because I'm left-handed and I really want ONE of them to at least be left-handed, too  


Do you know how difficult it's going to be to teach them how to write with me being a lefty and them being righties?!  

I am ambidextrous but I still ended up with my right hand being the dominant one.

My eldest writes with his left and and does everything else with his right. Not sure how he was when I was younger. My 20 month old picks everything up with her right. I thought at one point in time she may be amdidectriois (sp?) but she still may end up being it as well. It runs in my family to use both hands.

I'm ambidextrous. I write with my left, eat with both, but play sports with my right. I think Ryleigh is as well, she uses both hands for everything. But time will tell I suppose.

i feel like cam has phases, or it depends on what hes doing. he switches back and forth but i think when it comes to most things he favors his right hand... but throwing i see him using his left
