Anyone who you allow to drive your car is covered under your insurance policy, so that's stupid.

I'm sure that would be insurance fraud.

Why, are you wanting to turn them in or something?

Unless they stole the car or don't have a license then they are covered

Unless the real driver doesn't have a license or something. I don't it's covered then, is it?

It would depend if the insured knew or not. Like if they willingly let a unlicensed person drive then no generally it wouldn't be covered.

No they have to be a legal driver. I "think" maybe they have to be over 25 too but I could be wrong. I know my family borrows one of our cars all the time when they come to visit and they are covered on our insurance.

The age would depend on your policy, and would be stated on the declaration or exclusion page.

ahh, okay. I'm pretty sure my policy only covers licensed drivers who have permission to use my car. I don't think there's an age restriction, but not sure.

Actually I believe it is...when I had my permit and drove, I was still covered under the insurance.

A permit is still a form of license.

Well sure... if it's a valid driving permit or what not. I meant someone who is not allowed to drive legally.

Ohh ok, I didn't know if that counted or not because it wasn't like a real license.
