My Fur Baby

Is the queen of personality, haha.
I just had to share with someone these photos I took today. I gave her one of the baby booties I messed up on and she has totally claimed it, haha.

I have two other mice and a cat, but they aren't fans of the camera in the slightest.

awww! I want a rat so bad! well... I like the idea of it, really, I'm so over having animals at all at this point. I've always heard that rats were extremely smart, though. Trainable, too! I bet they're a lot of fun.
(That is a rat, right? I'm gunna feel pretty dumb if not. lol)

This is my "first born" I love him to death, really it's SO's dog that's making me rethink ever having pets again. Can't stand the thing.

Ya she is a corgi. I had a mouse a few years ago. I loved him to death but he hated me. He bit me everytime I held him.

She's actually a mouse, haha.
Bit she has the personality of a rat. If I pucker my lips at her, she'll give me kisses, stops what she's doing when I scratch behind her ears and has started doing things for treats. She's 10 weeks old now, so she's the perfect age to teach a few tricks (mice don't learn on the same scale as rats though.)

I hate life without animals. I always had pets while growing up, and home just isn't home with a furry friend to me, lol. I HAVE taken a preference for small animals in recent years though. I chalk it up to apartment living. I so wish I could sell DH on a rat.

I think corgis are so adorable. My friend had a corgi-dachshund mix and he was the sweetest little thing ever, haha.

I breed mice as a hobby and for a few extra bucks. I know they usualky get bought to be fedders, sadly, but I still handle my guys from about 3 days old so that they don't feel threatened by humans.

The mouse in the picture just got put in the breeding tank three days ago, and I'm hoping she accepts my male soon. Her personality and colour are just too perfect to pass up.

haha well I've always thought mice were cuter than rats anyway!  
I didn't know that mice could be trained like that, though. She sounds like a smart little mouse.  

yeah, he's a beagle. He's got the funniest personality.  
I think it's part of me being pregnant, and currently having me, SO, a 70 lb dog (his), and my dog in our tiny one bedroom apartment that's making me so tired of having animals. I'm just big and hormonal and sick of the dogs putting their noses all over DDs things right after I wash them or get them ready to be used.
I was always been more of a cat and small animal person anyway, though. dogs are a little too energetic for me, but I've had Snoopy (my beagle) for 3 years now and a bond has grown lol. The dogs will be going to our parents' houses a couple weeks before I'm due for a bit, though, so I'm anticipating that break! SO and I both decided that when the day comes that we don't have our dogs anymore, we'll probably get a cat. Or if we for some reason want a dog, we'll get a small dog. Probably a corgi, ironically. lol
