Best shoes for new walkers

DS has been taking steps since 8 months but now at 10 months primarily walks/runs/climbs... All boy. lol. What are the best shoes for him to wear? I know some are really bad and I never really put shoes on him before. lol... Thanks.  

If they are flexible they are good. Soft sole is what I always started with. Stride rite is good. And pediped are even better.

is he walking well on is own or are his ankles still in need of support? I bought mine "squeaker sneakers" to get her to start walking they made noise and she liked them she was a late walker. but starting out when she had gotten the hang of it on her own a little I used high-top stride rites, then as she got older I went to the regular stride rites and from there she liked Nike the best, she hates wearing shoes so it was a challenge to find anything she would even wear. He's walking on his own. He NEVER has shoes on. lol. I'm going to miss not having to put shoes on him.

lol things go fast. my daughter hated shoes, and still does. sometimes it does me no good to put them on her. she was ALWAYS bare foot after she got the hang of walking good.

Stride rites! I even had them as a baby lol!
