Abnormal Weight Loss

posted 5th Feb
I have always been thin, 5'4 117 pounds before I became pregnant, the day after birth I weighed in at 110. It took me only 3 1/2 weeks to drop to 80 pounds, but now about three years later I still can not get myself over 95 pounds! My diet has not changed at all, nor has my work out routines (never had any to begin with). I cant even gain a pound if I tried, I'd like to be back at 110 or 117 but nothing helps. I am perfectly healthy according to my doctor but I'm not happy at this weight. Anybody else have this experience or any solutions? Known causes?

Food intolerance can cause that. Gluten or dairy are the two big ones. They've checked your thyroid, right?

Yes everything is healthy with me besides that I am slightly Anemic. Ive heard of weight gain from the intolerance from a friend but never weight loss. Ill check into that thank you

Try adding foods to your diet that are heavy in healthy fats and calories.

Avacados, olive oil, nuts, etc.

Also make sure you talk to your doctor about this.

Weight loss is actually more common the weight gain. Weight loss (and anemia) can occur because your body is unable to process the food so ti doesn't absorb all the nutrients. Personally, I think gluten is a HUGE problem for a lot of people who have no idea about it.

I tried McDonalds even! haha but for the past year Ive been going down the avacado type of food route. I prefer healthy foods but it does not help that much if at all. &Thank you.
