I am so excited because tomorrow I get to here my sons heartbeat. I will also ask about the tube tying process and what to expect. The other thing is the circumsicion and if my medicare will pay for it. If not how much will it cost to get him circumcised. Also since my last visit I have been having braxton hicks contractions that are occuring everyday now and they occur all day until the time I go to sleep but they don't get close they are painful contractions but not close. I have maybe 4 or 5 contractions an hour. but never getting too painful. I also have been moving into th new house and unpacking but the contractions have started way before we moved.

Medicare paid for BOTH of my sons in 2007 and 2009...Now I don't know if it has changed since then or if it varies from state to state? hmmm...

Isn't Medicare for elderly people? Medicaid no longer pays for circumcisions though. It is considered cosmetic and medically unnecessary...

As for your braxton Hicks, I've been having them since about 30 weeks pretty frequently. My doctor hasn't seemed to concerned about them, and the one time I went to l&d, They did have to be stopped but They hadn't made any changes to my cervix. So I wouldn't be too concerned.

I meant medicaid. Sorry lol. But there is medical risk if the boy don't know how to properly take care of his private when it's uncircumscised (sp i know) risk of infection happens a lot

That's what I think as well. My son is circumcised.. but I guess they feel it's not necessary!

Both of my boys a re circumcised and thank God I'm having a girl this time around so I won't have to deal with that . It made me so sad when they got it done..but better now then later down the road! My kids father's cousin wasn't circumcised, his mom believed it was "his decision" well when he was 16 he felt extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed by it so he go it done...and he can obviously remember it all and said it was the worse experience of his life and the worse pain he's ever went through and the chances of it getting infected are way worse when you get it done later in life! So if I had to pay for it or not I would most definitely get it done when he's first born lol. I know it's a little off topic but thought that I would share

We dont get it.done in the uk unless they get an infection... Out of my entire friendship group and every boy i know, of which there are many, from babies to adults, only.one has needed it for.medical.reasons. My son disnt have it due to.it not being normal over here and hes.fine. I dont mean offense but if you just teach them how to clean then they shouldnt have any problems with it. X

Really? I have 25% hearing and it keeps declining since I was almost two is when they found out,I've had over 15 surgeries on my ears and see a specialist...Do I qualify for disability?? I wear a hearing aid but have a loaner bc mine is broke and I can't quite afford to get it fixed currently.

At the hospital I go to it's only 75$ for a circumcision and I'm doing it for mine when he comes out... As to the braxton hicks contractions, are you drinking at least 64fl oz of water everyday? If I don't drink at least that much water every day I will get a lot of BH as well... It is recommended that you drink at least 8fl ox glasses everyday (or 64fl oz). You should try taking a warm bath when you get them to calm the contractions down

You should file for disability because you having 25% hearing you qualify for it because its a health problem.

All I need is documentation stating from my specialist that I only have 25% hearing?!?! That would be no problem if so   It's been a struggle,I know that much

ummm seriously i have four intact boys in my home and none have any issues with it, nor have had infections. you are letting your own prejudice about what you think a penis should look like dictate a major surgery in the first few days of your son's life. kind of selfish IMO since more boys are intact now....
