'TH' sound

When was your kid able to say 'th'

Heathen is 4.5 and she can't do 'th' sounds. She's got 'sh' and 'ch' down like it's nobody's business.
I'm not worried, its just something I've been wondering

Funny you bring this up, today we worked on a "th" sound with her reading lesson and she had a little trouble articulating it. She's also 4.5, so I'm not sure.

My sons old speech therapist say some kids dont get that sound down until they are around 7.

I just remember my BFF going to speech therapy because she couldn't do 'th' 'sh' or 'ch.' But for her it turned out to be an issue with the webbing under her tongue. She had to get it clipped and keep with the speech therapy and she's fine now.
I'm not saying that's the thing with Heathen since she can do the other sounds. It's just a little irritating hearing 'den' 'duh' 'der' 'sankyou' etc. lol
