Emotional roller coaster of TTC :(

So DH and I had taken a break from TTC for6 months when we adopted DD. the last 5 months haven't been to bad AF came right on time to the day so I was just like ok whatever. Now AF is 3 days late BFN this morning. I am spotting and having some small cramps. Just like a light pink. Normally AF dos not come in so lightly and quietly. She's usually like a hurricane lots of blood lots of pain. So I finally went and got a blood test to know for sure bc who knows if I were to get pregnant (never had a BFP) whether I could sustain it bc my hormones are so messed up. I just hate the emotional roller coaster of hoping and being disappointed every time.

I hear you! It took 3 1/2 years for us to conceive our first. We took a year off in the middle while hubby was overseas. During this time my sister became pregnant while on BC. It was so horrible for me. I tried to suck it up. Im glad I had my mom to vent to because I said sone pretty horrible things....

I remember when hubby came home on leave and I was 3 days late and so excited and took a test and got a negative..

When we finally actually did get pregnant we had given up all hope and were waiting for insurance to kick in to do fertility. I was only a day late and hubby gave me a test as a complete joke. We were shocked to see the brightest positive.

Try to keep your head up mama. I know its so hard!

Thanks! We actually did 5 IUIs back in 2011. Adopting was so much easier than this I never doubted that I was gonna get my DD.

Well AF finally came  Guess it's over!

could you adopte a little one again?
or maybe start the all process again (has I hear it s a long one) and still do all the fertility treatment ?

I know we haven't been trying nearly as long as you have but i know how you feel. Ttc and having the let down each month is heartbreaking. The first time we got preggo it took us only 2 months having sex every other night. This time it's been over a year but if you count from my normal cycles (Oct) only 5 months. AF showed up for me yesterday. I'm temping this cycle and the next 3 cycles to pinpoint when I ovulate. This cycle I'm going to use opks along with the temping so I can see if they match up. I am also picking up a bottle of Vitex to use.

Well I have endometriosis by I ovulate regularly every month. So idk what else is wrong I think it's my hormones. I think there may have been a few times I conceived but my hormones wa were too low to test and too low for baby to stick. I think this summer after our daughter turns 1 we might try ivf. We really still want to have our own.

I wish you the best of luck. A good friend of mine finally got pregnant after two failed IUI's and one perfect IVF. Just keep pushing to find out the source of the problem. Dont give up mama!

I know how you feel we've been ttc the same amount of time. We are on our 4th iui with IVF medications and now in the 2ww. I have thought about giving up, but I'm still hanging in. If you need anything just let me know.

I have a cousin who has endo and PCOS and they told her she may never have a baby. She finally got preggo and her daughter is 4 months. So I know there's hope for most of us. I hope it's just not time for you and that there's nothing wrong with you other than that.
