Aw  ...Do you think it would be for money or man child reasons heh...I WISH I could go back to pp...but idk if it will be worth the gas money...its a 25-30 min drive...BUT anywhere else I would probably make like 3 dollars less an hour sooo...would it be worth it?

money, probably.
I have a lot of my own bills, so it's going to be hard for a bit... but I'm hoping that my probation officer will let me off early next month which is -$50/month, and with using some random wifi without a password that showed up ( ) has dropped my cell phone bill from like, $150 to $75 (ATT and their damn limited data), and I need to hassle Eric again about refinancing my car so maybe the payments will lower. but until I can get all that done I'm only saving about $75/month on my cell phone, and who knows when the wifi will disappear lol so I just don't know how long it will last with all of my expenses on top of his AND the expenses of a new baby. we did save a $150 gift card to buy buy baby that we got at my shower, though, for "just in case"
though I do keep reminding him of this fact that I found: "couples with new babies spend average $7,000 just in the first year on diapers and wipes, formula, and child care."
and I'm eliminating all of those. (well, at least knocking it down to maybe $300 up front for diapers, and as long as nothing goes wrong BFing)

I would say that the gas money would all depend on how well your van does on gas... bc I mean if that's really the only place you drive to and back, I don't think it'd be that big of a deal... It's not really that much gas even just from my apartment to your house, which I believe is farther.
and with an extra $3/hour, I'd think that more than makes up for gas expenses. Especially since there you'll more than likely be able to get the hours/days you want/need since you worked there for so long before.

Do they have Lactation Consultants at your birth center? Spend the money on one if not and you have any issues...mine saved me  . I could help too unless that makes you unconfortable...I remember alot of the tricks. There are free lactation classes at hospitals....mine was pretty informative  . I called today and am going to probably start working at PP a couple days a week..I'm sad about it....but I would only go half days twice a week I think. We really need that extra 500$ a month....so...yeah. I just keep thinking the worst about leavibg him ughh.

pffft it actually takes a lot to make me uncomfortable. I'd probably ask you for tips and advice anyway.
there's a third class at the birth center for breastfeeding and info for the first few days home that we'll be taking next week. This week is "how to be prepared in case of transfer" *sigh* I really just want to keep the idea out of my head completely, but it's definitely info I'll need. -__-
I was unaware of the free ones at the hospital, but that's good to know if I end up needing it.   I'm also just really glad that I have so many people that have recently given birth and gone through the whole breastfeeding thing. Like I have you, and my cousin BFed until I think 14 months, she's really sad she didn't longer, but she'll be a lot of help, too.

aww but I think you'll actually like being back at PP, you weere saying how you kinda missed it.   Besides, half days for two days a week won't seem like much after the first week. I'd be more worried about being tempted to stop by the NS after work and blow money since they're so close.

They are usually ones you take before you have the baby but maybe you could sneak her in haha...its like preparing  ...Yeah dont be afeaid to ask...and I dont mind like watching her latch and telling you what to correct either....Im actually considering being a LC...but its so much school and idk if I could work in a hospital.

Yeah I just posted a topic cuz its bothering me so much haha! Ugh I feel so guilty....I was excited...now I feel sad...but hopefully ot will get easier like you said

well since you wanna be a doula, too, you could get your doula cert, get certified to encapsulate placentas (if you feel comfortable steaming and grinding up other people's placentas  ) and you could also do LC and you could be a full package. The lady I was looking at to encapsulate for me does all three, but it also costs $200, so I just decided I'd do it myself for just the cost of the capsules. That way you wouldn't have to work in a hospital.

Who's going to watch N while you work?

Thats true...if I did it that way I wouldnt have to go to nursing school....hmmmmm  . My Mom would watch him one day and Angel would watch him the other I think...I'm more worried about my Mom watching him...she has attention problems...and Noah is crazy active right now...he hurts himself when I watch him sometime...sooo my Mom you know will play on her phone and he might tip some crap over 0_0

hmmm is she going to watch him at her house or your's? I'd ask her to watch him at your's, personally. She just has a lot more to get into, and besides that your house has more of his toys... except that badass dinosaur.
