both he washes dishes but only if there in the sink. He is AWFUL about leaving his dirty cloths (socks especially) all over the house. but i dont mind.....to much lol

there's been hair around the bathroom sink for days because I don't think I should have to come behind everything he does and clean up after him. I just don't understand how I'm supposed to clean that up? He couldn't take the 2 seconds to wipe it off and down the drain when he was done shaving?
I guess after hearing all these answers I should just be grateful we only live in a one bedroom apartment at the moment.

me too...but I especially hate when he doesn't even run water on them and they get crusty..ugh!

I only work 2 nights a week, soooo I'm still home all day lol

I put his crap in piles and leave it there, he usually takes the hint when I follow him around while he's carrying his pile, and snap at him when he tries to put it down some where else  

I clean up after him! It makes me angry sometimes when it's something so small. Like, putting the jelly back in the fridge. >.<

But on the weekends he's really great about cleaning. He cleans our room and LO's room like spotless, organizes, does the dishes, helps with laundry, makes the bed.

But weekdays, he leaves stuff everywhere.

Both but he only picks up what he wants to. He practically had a maid growing up though. I'm trying to change his way of thinking when it comes to messes.

I clean up after him. He's never lived on his own so he's never had to clean up after himself. At the end of the day it isn't a big deal to me. He'll do something if I ask him to. He isn't not doing it to be a jerk, he just honestly doesn't think about it. It drove me nuts at first, but it's one of the things I've decided just isn't worth a fight about.

a couple weeks ago the kids 'n i went to my parents house, and dude has his buddy (but this dude is like 50 yrs old) over to watch the hockey game..by the time we get home, he's up in bed, and there's like.. paper towels in the sink, garbage all over the living room, food left out and open... i almost lost it.
like, he comes home to a house everyday after i have kiddos playing in it all day and there's no mess to be seen..but two grown men?

yes! He's like this. But every day. He will put trash in the sink. drives me insane! It's just stupid simple things. Like throwing trash away when the trash can is two feet away from the sink.
The sad part is, he's lived on his own before. I would have hated to see what that apartment looked like.

  oh god i would not be able to handle that.

im always picking up fter him, dont think he realises how messy he is. if he takes his socks off he puts them NEXT to the washing basket nstead of in it, he just chucks rubbish next to the bin instead of in it, doesnt wipe up the bench after he makes food or put stuff away. oh well, im used to picking up after people.

i would go nuts!
my kids clean up better than my dude does, they use the dishwasher, etc etc.
and i'm always worried his bad habits could rub off on them.
but so far, so good.

My husband is currently vacuuming our bedroom right now after he folded up some of the laundry. My husband usually cleans or organizes of his days off even if there isn't anything to clean. My BIL and I call him tweaker, lol.

My SO doesn't stick it in the sick...he tosses it on the counter   and half the time it's the counter where all he has to do is turn the eff around and the trash can is right there! He throws his socks on the floor next to the hamper...or the bed if it's his night off. DS is 16-months and makes less of a mess, I swear! With SO if I ask him on his day off to do something he usually will, or he will procrastinate til it pisses me off and I do it.
