Oh well then that makes it all better. NOT you shouldnt do it at all. She is only 8 months. You keep saying how she is such a baby to you and blah blah you wont even let her play on the floor yet you're ok with laying your hands on her. Small tap or not its just not right.

i assure you it wasn't in the face and i said that in the original post. that if it hit her at all it was on the hand. i also said that i didn't think it hurt her because she didn't cry but on the off chance it could be damaging i stopped. and it had only happened a couple of times.

I will say that I do the hand "pop" using ONE finger on my 11 month old daughters hand when she is constantly trying to UN-baby proof my house. Lol but it doesn't hurt her and it's more like a "brush of her hand" than a pop. 8 months is a little young, but I wouldn't call cps or anything. LOL
