a wk of bfp then today bfn??

I'm so upset and sad and confused right now  I got my first super faint positive last Tuesday and they got darker though never as dark as the control line. I had one extra so I took it today for fun (had 2 positives yesterday) and it came out negative. I know it's so early but I still couldn't help myself in getting excited. So now i guess i just wait for the cramps to begin??? This sucks  Sorry just had to get it out somewhere since we didn't tell anyone IRL

What brand of sticks are you using and how many DPO were you when you first started testing?

I wonder if it could be a faulty test. I would test again with a different test.

You can get false negatives but not false positives! If your hcg levels had dropped to be untraceable you would have already miscarried. Dont be.down anout this one negative!! X

I wouldn't lose hope yet! Sometimes tests can show up negative when they are not. Especially if your pee is diluted.

I don't think that your levels can drop that quickly. I would test again. Hang in there I hope it all works out.

depending on how high her levels were in the first place.. It took me 3 weeks to go from 25 to 5. The tests would still show up. It could possibly be a chemical. I don't really understand what your statement means by untraceable. There is always a small amount of HCG in your system

I was 10DPO when I first tested (last tuesday) I used the dollar store ones. Yesterday I used a dollar store and had an Answer one from my OPKs and took that too with positive but not as dark as control ever. I have never taken a test with my past 3 pregnancies that weren't dark right away so I was slightly nervous to begin with. I tried to get into the dr for some bloodwork but they refused to see me till 8 wks since I'm new to the practice. Ugghh this just sucks.

Well there's your fist problem is the dollar store tests and using OPK's for an hcg. Don't do that. I think you're okay. I would use a different test such as an answer that is not an OPK or a First Response.

my previous losses I wasn't able to pass on my own (both at 8wks). The first if I didn't have an u/s and see the heart stopped i wouldn't have known for who knows how long, never bled at all up to my D&C over a week after the u/s. The second I bled off and on for over a month then ended up with a D&C cause I was starting to show signs of infection. So if I indeed lose this one hopefully since it's earlier it will be able to pass on it's own???

go buy a first response!

All the other ones showed up so I figured it would too. And I didn't use an OPK, each month supply of OPK comes with one pregnancy test. Now i'm even more confused on if i should still be hopeful! ahhhh why can't i just be like8 3/4mo preggo with a healthy baby on the way??!! TTC and early pregnancy can be so emotionally exhausting

You're welcome. I know exactly what you mean. I went through one m/c, a chemical and TTC'd for 11 months. I know what you're going through. Don't give up mama, it's all worth it in the end  

the same thing happened to me last month. I'm so sorry! ! my period wantestarted soon after. this month I got preggo and have been worried. . but I got on progesterone and hoping this sticks. I'm sorry mama  

That's what happened to me last month. I finaally got a BFP about 2 days late. Only had positives for two days and then nothing. I started bleeding later that night. I hope that isn't the case for you!
