Not sure if you can see the pics, if not let me know I'll post some. But my brothers fiancee knows a guy who does tattoo's cheap, has his own shop and it's very nice and clean. I'm thinking about having him do my first tattoo, do you think he's good? From what I see in his pics his work looks pretty good to me.

He does okay work. I wouldn't get anything too detailed.

But I am super particular.

I don't think he's that good.

I don't have any tattoos, so am by no means an expert, but I think he's mehh. A couple of them are really good, and then some are just really bad IMO.

I might look into going to a place in Dayton, last time I walked in they ignored me though and I asked to talk to someone but he was "busy" he said. I don't see how you're busy if you're sitting down texting.

Yeah, a few were pretty bad. Thanks for the input! I'm gonna look into calling other shops or visiting them in person.

I havent gotten another tattoo because I want it perfect and not a hot mess!

I have been searching for the perfect artist, I don't care if I have to pay 100-200 dollars. The tattoo will mean a lot and I want it to be perfect.

Some of them are good, some are not. It's up to you. I have had tattoos done by unprofessionals and I'm lucky I got something in a hidden spot and something I can have covered easily.

Me too. I have thought this through a ton and the meaning behind the tattoo is special. I have a design to go with it but the main part I love will be the words "Rise Above This" that will serve to be a reminder everyday that I can rise above all the negative things in life. It's a title of one of my favorite songs ever<3

Yeah Im still deciding on what I want lol. But Im getting something for my kids but I dont know what yet. lol.

Awww <3 that's sweet. After this tattoo I want to get another but not right away, I wanna draw something up for it then it'll either go on my forearm or down my side, it'll say "Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces"

and I want one dedicated to my grandpa<3
