Hotel Rwanda

FINALLY got to watch that movie. And OMG I cried like a baby.
I'm almost lost for words. I don't understand how anyone can convince themselves that it is ok to murder men, women, or children like that.
But the movie it's self was done very well.

I thought that was a very good movie too. Horrific though, what happens and is still happening in some countries though. i wish there were more we could do to help.

Have you seen the Invisible Children documentary? Another very sad, but profound and thought-provoking movie.

I sobbed through like the whole thing. Even more so because from what I read its a pretty accurate (true) story. And i don't mean the genocide...I mean what the family went through.
I saw an interview on a documentary...they interviewed one if the murderers and the things he said were so awful.

That's terrible. I knew it was based off of a real story but I didn't know that family specificily was real.

Yes the family  It is an amazing story, and so sad. I didn't pick it up the first time I watched it but after I read a news article it clicked-their son had gone over to a friends house and found them all murded to bits, so when they were all leaving in the van you hear the son cry out as they (quickly) pass their bodies on their front lawn.
