re: 3 month old weight.

Why wouldn't you do something the Dr. suggests?

Because rice cereal in a 3 month old is way too early. I even got a 2nd opinion at the same clinic and was told the doctor was wrong.

Ohh I see. Well I guess if your other kid was small also, then it's normal for you.
Anyway... My daughter will be 8 weeks tomorrow and is somewhere around 11 lbs. Idk if that's considered under or overweight lol.

my daughter was around 11-11.5 lbs at 3 months. She has always been a petite little princess, healthy and happy, just small (21lbs now at 16 months)   As long as he eats well and is reaching his milestones I wouldn't worry

Yeah that's how I feel about it. As long as he's gaining and seems fine I'm not worried. 11lbs seems like a good weight to me. They all gain differently.

My daughter was 27lbs at 24 months. lol She's just always been so skinny.

im not even sure mine will weigh that much by then lol she a shorty too though... I wouldn't worry, personally

Birdee is 4 and only weighs 32.5lbs. There is nothing wrong with petite kids.

Yeah I'm guessing it's the same as adults...some are small framed, some are big framed. I was always told that if my baby is peeing/pooping enough times a day, then obviously she's eating fine.

My daughter was 25 lbs at 2, she dropped to 19 after her surgery and it took us 6 months to get her back to 25. She's 4 and weighs maybe 36 pounds. I'll celebrate when she hits 40. Lol

LO was 11lbs 10 oz at her 2 month check up and two weeks later was 12lbs 10 oz. That's as close as I have to a three month weight.

My son will be 3 months old in less than a week and is almost 15lbs..! He's a chunker.. But he's very tall/long so it evens out.. He's not overweight for his height.

Most of the babies born the same time as my son are so huge compared to him. lol He's definitely not overweight, just healthy.
