Damaged DVD

Rage.

I keep my DVD's in a CD case all nice and separated so I have NO idea how this happened but it has weird spots on it, not scratches...

Popped in my pregnancy/birth/DD first year recorded DVD and it wont play. Isn't even recognized.

Tried another DVD player...Nothing...And then my PC, still nothing.

Its the only recording I have of my dad talking and on film.

I want to throw up.

Try cleaning it with toothpaste.
That usually does the trick if my DVDs aren't playing/have spots.

You can also try taking it to a game place that resurfaces cds/dvds. Like Hastings.

It's out of the scope of toothpaste. Its not scratched it's like warped spots. somehow it got damaged and i'm not really sure what happened.

Going to try to extract what I can off of it...if I can even do that  

Sometimes burned dvds & cds will start to peel off. I would see if I can find a place that can take the data off it abd make you a new one if possible
