My urologist told me today that I'm showing signs of lupus and wants to do further testing before medicating me.

Symptoms:
Kidney beginning to fail (I have kidney scarring)
Frequent kidney infections
Only able to use the restroom 1-3 times daily
Joint pain (mainly knees and wrists)
Dizziness
Shortness of breath
Chest pain
Headaches
Hair loss
Blood in urine
Protein in urine

Yes it does, my co-worker has it, and she has a lot of the symptoms you listed...

My best friend has most of those symptoms and she has the worst type of lupus. It also could very well be something totally different. I hope things turn out good for you.

Do you know how they were diagnosed and what treatment options there are? I honestly know nothing about it and I'm refraining from looking on the internet.
