I'm going to pass out

I just got a call from a lawyer that one of my medical bills was sent to them. It's for $754. We don't have money. Period.
No money to make payments, nothing. They said they're going to file a law suit against me if I don't act soon.
I have no bank accounts that aren't negative. WTF am I supposed to pay them with?
I just put my business online, I'm going to have to rely on my profit from that, to keep me from getting a law suit.
I'm so smurfing upset, my stomach hurts so smurfing much. Marc can't find work anywhere. He's waiting for the fire academy to open up, but it won't be for a while.
I just want to die dude. Seriously. FML. My kids don't deserve to grow up in a smurffy situation like this.

No in the OP I said he can't find work anywhere, so he's not waiting. He worked as an EMT but they laid a lot of people off, including DH. He's been applying, everyday he's out applying, interviewing, and nothing. We tried to leave this city because of the lack of jobs, but that was right before he got laid off

Did you talk to the lawyer about payment plan of some sort?
Or maybe consider bankruptcy?

I highly advise not doing debt consolidation, you will end up paying wayyyyy more. Do you have a lot of debt? Have you tried Dave Ramsey?

I don't have alot of debt. Mainly hospital bills. In total below 5k. Who's that?
