Hyperemesis Moms

I was just prescribed Zofran for my HG. I had it when I was pregnant with my daughter but didn't treat it and I probably should have. This time around it seems to be worse even causing me to vomit water. My nurse told me to take the Zofran along with Unisom and B6. What type of regimen worked best for you, using these medications? I still have the nausea but I am not running to vomit immediately after eating food or drinking which is great!

thats all that worked. Zofran helped me keep it down but I was still nauseous. I also sucked those pregnancy pops.

ugh, My worst memory in life was when I was 4 months pregnant and I remember throwing up nothing but stomach bile and water for 3 days straight. HG is the devil.

Nothing worked for me. Not zofran, not reglan, not phenergan. UGH...that;s why I'll never be pregnant again.

it really does make you never want to be pregnant again. Im still holding on to hope that every pregnancy is different and my next one will be peaches and cream. Cus I cant do that HG smurf again.

Every pregnancy is different, but I got blessed with HG twice

Yes. That's how its been pretty much every morning. I tried the "oh eat a few crackers or a small snack before you get out of bed". I still end up emptying my stomach completely.

I don't like to complain about it and was trying to suck it up because the nausea is comforting after suffering a miscarriage a few months ago. But I was reading up on the complications of HG and didn't want to risk my or the bean's health.

I also sucked lemons and popsicles. it was my basic diet for...a month a two. Have you tried that?

I've tried lemons but then I get intense heart burn and anything sugary makes me cringe. I was also drinking seltzer but after vomiting that up enough now I have an aversion to that too. lol

The only thing that works for me is 8mg zofran every day. Some days is still feel sick though. Unfortunately it's lasted my whole pregnancy I'm so glad to be due this week.
