Tamiflu (yuck!)

How did you get your child to take it? My daughter refuses to take it because of the taste. The doctor said if she won't take it it's fine she will get better with out it but I still feel like she needs to.

It's only effective if taken within 48 hours of flu symptoms starting. If it's been longer than that, I wouldn't mess with it.

Sorry she feels bad though.  

My daughter just took it out of the dispenser.. She turned away her head but I would force her to take it.
It is disgusting tho.. And stupidly expensive!

But maybe but it in her food, bottle... I dunno..

Oh I know it was like $200 thankfully the insurance covered it. We just went to the dr today she said she had flu b virus. She isn't even acting sick at all just has a fever that would not go away.

Yeah, we don't have insurance but with the discount that the doctor told me to ask them about I paid 120$ out the door for just the medicine.. Thats insane! And yeah DD had the type a so we caught it in time.. She also had a fever that would not go away.. it even got up to 105.
