definitely... IMO inductions shouldn't happen early, period (if there is no medical reasoning).

it's beyond ridiculous.

I agree 100%. The Dr's push it & the uneducated parents are all for not being pregnant anymore. I would have loved to make it full term. It was scary delivering an early baby. Not to mention, pitocin is smurfing hell. haha.

yes, pitocin is smurfing awful.

I'm sorry you had to deliver her so early. I'd be freaked the hell out

I got lucky, & she was perfect, just small ( but not TOO small... 5 lbs 8 oz)
No NICU time luckily which is amazing for a 35 weeker. She was jaundiced for a couple days but that's it! She's hit all her milestones early & grows like a weed.

However, not everyone gets this lucky & I still think babies should "bake" as long as possible.

Yep.
I was one of those people my first time. I take full responsibility for it. I was so stupid. I wanted to have her before my high school graduation, that way I didn't go into labor while I was walking the stage...and my doctor had zero problems with it because my blood pressure was messed up. So I was induced 2 weeks early, which was 4 days before my graduation. I mean, she was healthy...so I got lucky. Dumbest thing I've ever done, though. That was the worst labor ever. I still kick myself in the ass for doing it. Then with my second, I was really wanting to make it to my DD or even a little over....but he came on his own at 34 weeks.

Aww :/ At least she was healthy & you know now in case you ever have anymore. I'm worried my next will be early as well. It's scary having early babies.

Yeah, it's very scary. My second was on life support for his first 2 weeks....I never want to have to go through that again. :/ Hardest month of my life.

I was induced because the surgeon was going on vacation lol...

They ended up transfering me anyways, and after delivery he was still transfered because neo nat surgeon was at his other hosp. By the time I deliverd...
