Domestic Violence Awareness

I was thinking of doing this for our school in October. I'm just going to post the same email I sent to my friend in TEACH club and see what you think.

Hey, what do you think of arranging an event for October, since October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Maybe a week dedicated to people giving speeches and warning people of domestic violence, how it shows itself and the warning signs, and where to go to get help? Lots of special speakers, maybe empowering songs, ect. Stress to men that women can commit acts of DV too and that they should also seek help. Etc. We could do it through TEACH club.
