Moving out of state 35+weeks! questions

So where Im working right now they will be opening a new facility at Scott LA sometime in April

Well my due date is April 28 and any doctors that i have call take any patients so far along.. I want to keep my doctor because I trust him and I like him.

my plans are to drive 2 weeks before my due date, here to Houston and have my baby, only take 3 hrs drive

what would you do??

I know every pregnancy are different and what so ever but with my 1st one I was induced, but who knows about this baby..

I moved across the country at 34 weeks. I had to jump through hoops to find someone to take me. Finally I called the last place on my list and just cried over the phone to the nurse on call and she made sure they took me. If you have the option of staying with your doctor and you don't have a history of fast labors I'd say it's ok. If you go into labor before you get back to your doctor make sure you have someone else who can drive you.
