Eye patching

I have been having to patch my daughters left eye because her right eye crosses badly. We only do it once a day for an hour. I have noticed her right eye is getting so much better but her left eye is crossing badly when it never has before. She also has trisomy 21 which means she has low tone and could be causing her eyes to be weak but I'm wondering if its normal for the patched eye to start crossing. Anyone?

i can't say yes or no but i don't think it is normal. i could be wrong though. if it were me, i would just take your daughter to an eye doctor and see what they say about it.

I'm gonna call them and see what they say. I couldn't get another appointment til June. They are so backed up right now. I'm just worried its making her other eye weak. She doesn't need glasses but if her eyes keep doing this she may need them.
