Thank you! It's a new allergy so i'm still getting used to it. Tropical flavors are a definite no no now haha.

Anything Tropical usually contains pineapple so I'd avoid it. But I would call Taco Bell and tell then what happen.

Both are tropical plants, though. I usually go for anything tropical, because it means pineapple is in it and I love pineapple.

Yes you talk to Pepsi. Taco Bell has nothing to do with it.

I personally think the issue is with the Mt Dew/Pepsi company not Taco Bell. If it doesn't say it on the product how the hell would they know? KWIM? That is the company providing the products problem.

I'm actualky pretty sure there are some other foods you should probably stay away from being allergic to pineapple. I know a lot of people with latex allergies will have a reaction to pineapple, bananas, kiwis and strawberries because they contain a protein almost identical to latex so the body assumes it's latex and vice versa.

Definitely write to Pepsi about it though as they own Mt. Dew.

From past working experience in a food place, I'd say "it MIGHT contain pineapple, but I am not sure". If I wasn't 100%, I would NEVER give a direct answer especially to someone with an allergy. I'd most deff be calling Taco Bell up today and letting them know what happened so they can properly educate their workers/employees.
