Anyone else have an interior placenta?

posted 5th Feb
This pregnancy is definitely different than my two previous ones. For one, I have an interior placenta (baby implanted on the front of the uterus instead of the back). I had a baby scare yesterday because of it :/ I ended up calling my OB yesterday because at that point I hadn't felt her move for 15 hours. I ended up having a 45 minute NST (which the monitors picked up that she was moving the whole time, but I couldn't feel it). The doctor said that she probably just moved position and was kicking inward so I wouldn't be able to feel it (or hardly feel it).

Has anyone else gone through this? Thankfully, I've felt her move multiple times since then. She's already going to be a troublemaker like the other two lol

I had an anterior placenta and it did make it hard at times to feel her move. If you start to get worried just lay on your left side and drink something cold, that usually made it so I could feel her

Yepp. Mine was anterior center. Only felt movement on my sides. In the past 12 weeks it's slowly moved to the left side of my body. So I feel no movement on the left side/front. It's weird.

My first baby was an anterior placenta and I barely felt him move the entire time. Now I have a posterior placenta and I feel everything, holy moly what a difference, I can see if you had posterior placentas the first time around and then an anterior one how it'd be scary because I had no idea just how much a baby moved all day long! I always said my son was in there chilling out like he was in a hammock the whole time, I hardly felt him at all

I had a anterior placenta for my first two boys.. & i rarely felt movement unless it was a major movement.. my second son was engaged at 24weeks and everytime he would turn his head i'd feel his nose (awkward lol) rub my pubic bone and when he stretched he'd kick my boob.. so that's the only way i knew he was ok lol that and he was ALWAYS hiccuping.

This my 5th child and my first anterior placenta pregnancy. I had an ultrasound at 16 weeks when it was discovered and I am currently 18 weeks. I haven't been able to feel movement yet  I was told I might not feel much movement till the baby gets bigger . Grrrrr. Of course this my last child and he has decided to be difficult. The one thing that has kept me sane is my fetal doppler. It's hard to find due to the placenta being in the way but I can usually find it after much searching. Good luck
