Quoting Everythinglove:" I had the same problem when I was pregnant with my son. At about 35 weeks...I couldn't sleep for weeks.before ... [snip!] ... enough to.cause pain and discomfort. They gave me a morphine injection and I passed out for the best part of three days"
Quoting Mrs. Reynolds:" No. It might slow YOUR blood, but if the baby is in distress you will actually wake up from everything I have read."That is why I am wondering, I did wake up in the middle of having the pain is why I am concerned...I plan on asking more about it when I go to my doctor tomorrow but I just wondered if it can hurt him , because I did wake up for this one last night for the first time ever, this pain has never happened before and it was one of the most excruciating pains I've ever felt in my entire life. The pain with his head part has been going on for a few days now. But that was the first time I did wake up in pain and it wouldn't go away after that until I got up walked around, and laid specifically on my side and didn't move (not even my legs) until I fell asleep.
Quoting Mrs. Reynolds:" It was probably from your circulation being cut off or something being pinched, especially with pre-existing ... [snip!] ... pretty much always say don't sleep on your back though but Even with pillows propping me up everywhere I end up on my back "I was always sleeping with my tummy on a pillow on my side, but now it hurts like b*tch to sleep like that! I can't wait to have him beside my bed instead of in my belly so I can sleep on my belly again lol. But good I was all afraid and what not, he is too important to hurt I know what you mean to once my belly grew and threw me off balance I find myself on my back all the time!
