WARNING TO ALL PARENTS: my friend Jennifer gave her son a caprisun Saturday and he told her it tasted funny. She took a sip and said it tasted like straight alcohol. Cut it open and it was nothing but mold inside. Evidently, this happens a lot. They say the lack of preservatives leaves them susceptible to fermentation. I will never let Delo drink another.

this always happens with caprisuns   it sucks because I love them so much. You'd think they would figure out a solution.

from what i read, its due to lack of preservatives in them. my 4yo gets them for occasionally for her school lunch. i will be buying something different for now on.

SO smurfing gross. I haven't bought them since I heard about the worms in the packages years ago. And they claimed "oh that can sometimes happen in the warehouse" uhm..NO the worms did not MAGICALLY get into your SEALED packages of drinks, that smurf was put in there at the factory!! *gag*

hopefully parents who continue to buy caprisun learn a lesson and CUT the pouches open and pour them into a cup or something.

Probably not, some parents are dense as hell. They need to make ALL their packages with the clear side on it so you can see the damn thing if this is a common occurrence due to lack of preservatives.
