Question about bbt and o day.

posted 5th Feb
So all.body signs pointed to.o day on cd 15 but bbt was pos on that evening. And FF said o day happened cd18 I'm guessing based ofd temps. Myquration is when FF pinpointed o day on cd18 .... Does that mean that was the day it was viable and ready for fertilization. For 12-24hs? I'm just concerned bc I thought I ovulated before....so bd was done 13,15,19 around ovulation.

I've also read that once a bbt is positive the egg will be released in 12-36hours and afterwards will take a couple days to see a temp rise. Chances of pregnancy look slim if I.ovulated cd18. Unless we have aggressive sperm that was waiting when the egg was released.

Anyways, any input ladies?

Can you post a link to your chart? Going by your last thread that sounds about right though.

Yep I would agree with your chart as O day on CD 18. If you had sex on CD 15 you still have a very good chance.   Just remember for the future that when you get a positive OPK you should have sex that day and the day after.

Well, shoot I guess I can still be hopeful. When should I test?

The earliest I've been able to get a BFP is 10dpo.

Well I might as well wait for AF I am like clock work every 28-29 days. 10dpo would put me on the.day AF is due .... It just doesn't seem right to me. Idk ....I guess if it doesn't happen this month it will next month. I never tested early with my son I tested a week and a half late but I didn't even expect to get a positive then.
