Since I'm bored tell me your experience with being induced.
Ill be 41 weeks wed and check in at 6pm as of last Thursday I was still 1cm thick cervix and little miss moved her head up to and dr couldn't feel it (for 3 weeks he was able to bounce his finger of her head) fluid was good she's just being stubborn.
I'm nervous and hoping it doesn't take forever!

I was induced at 37 weeks due to health issues. I went in on Sunday and the Pitocin and Cervidil did nothing so on Tuesday afternoon I had a c-section. Pain in the ass. (And back)

I had been at 2cm for a couple of weeks! Went in for high blood pressure and was induced at 35w 5d, they broke my water and after 18 hours I ended up bleeding out and needing an emergency cesarean. It was hell, to say the least :/ If possible this time I want a 100% natural birth.

I was induced last time for low fluid levels at 40 weeks. Got pit at 8am and she was born at 1:26pm lol. However, I walked around at a 4 for almost 3 weeks.

I went in at 38 weeks.
Was in labor for 14 hours.
By the last few minutes I went from a 6 to a 10 in 10 minutes and pushed my 9 pound monster in 6 minutes
I had an epidural by 13 hours, the pain was sooo bad and it had wore off after 35 minutes.
My contractions started 9 hours in. So, I didn't really have very long contractions

Aw man my biggest fear is having a c section but I can't really go much longer since my dr said the closer to 42 weeks it can be harder due to fluids etc. eekkk

They started me off with cervidil, i had 3 twelve hour doses of that and finally got pitocin 3 days later. the minute i got pictoin my contractions were 2 mins apart and intense as hell. it was painful. i got an epidural after 6 hours of that...and i was 110% against getting an epi. it was a long drawn out process, i look forward to going into labor naturally next time i have a baby.

With DD1 they started the Pitocin at about 7am I think. Contractions started pretty easily, not too bad. Then the doctor broke my water at 9:30 am. By 10 I was in agony. Got my epidural and it was a cake walk after that. Gave birth at 3:18 pm.
With DS, they began Pitocin at 6 am. I can't remember what time they broke my water. But after that I was in a world of pain. Finally they decided to give me the epidural when I reached 4cm, at around 5 pm, it took 20 minutes for them to get it in my spine because I couldn't sit up, and the contractions were coming so fast one after the other and very very painful. I couldn't do anything they said and whenever I felt the prick in my back I kept moving uncontrollably and shaking from the pain from the contractions. After the 20 minutes it took to get it in, they checked my cervix, I was a 10cm. So I went from a 4 to a 10 in 20 minutes, which would explain why I was in so much pain at the time. Then I delivered at 5:13 pm.
With my last child, I went into labor naturally and my labor went so fast I didn't have time for an epidural. But I wouldn't take it back. My best labor ever, besides nobody being there with be but the nurses, lol. Go into labor naturally if possible. It's SO much better.
