For the past month my lower back has been hurting REALLY bad. Like where my kidneys are. It started out with just slight pain when I bent over but its getting progressively worse. I can barely walk or stand and the pain is spreading up my back and into my thighs and upper butt. It hurts worse in the morning, when I have to pee, and towards the evening. The pain is so bad it makes me nauseous. What could it be? I'm calling the Dr tomorrow I'm just super worried. And nothing helps. I've tried advil, tylenol, muscle rub, heating pads, ice packs, Bayer back and body..
I had that pain on Friday and called my OB (since I am pregnant) and they knew immediately what it was. I've been on antibiotics since and I feel so much better!

Damn I was really hoping it wasn't something like that. Lol.
I was just in the ER a few days ago for the same thing. Turned out I had (have) a cyst on one of my ovaries that caused the pain. It would radiate from my lower back to the middle to my abdomen. It would hurt or be pressure when I'd urinate. I thought for sure it was a kidney infection as well. But it was just a cyst. From what they said for me it was a corpus leutum cyst that forms after ovulation. Don't know how big it was or anything they wouldn't tell me. Waiting on an appointment from my doctor for a follow up.
