how should I cook these?

So we got some beef short ribs at the grocery store the other day, and they're in my freezer waiting to be cooked, but I kinda have no idea what to do with them...  

anyone have any good recipes for some beef short ribs?  

I just toss them into the crock pot. Dice up onions, dump a can of tomates, and a bottle of bbq sauce. Cook on low for 7 hours.
