This is my first tattoo. I designed it myself. he just traced it and put it on. Its a Jasmine flower

Did you get it done in Roanoke??

I don't have any intricate pieces. Just a couple simple ones   I'd love to get something beautiful and colorful though. I just can't decide what.

Thank you!   I can't wait to get the wings colored! To be honest, the phoenix came out better than I thought it would lol.

Yeah, got it done at a place called Alex's New Tattoo. You're definitely paying for quality there. I had a co-worker ask me how much I paid for mine and his eyes grew in shock when I told him. He then goes on to show me his ridiculous piece of "art" on his arm telling me he only paid $50.. I tried so hard not to laugh... I believe him, it looked like $50 to me.. There's no way I'd settle for something so smurffy, even if it was only 50 bucks...

So who in here thinks small tattoos on a forearm are manly?

Like an old school anchor very simple and in navy ink.

I think they're more feminine than they used to be. Like I could totally picture an anchor tattoo on one of my friends, since she's really into the nautical look. She's got some really badass tattoos too.

Part of the reason I haven't gotten a piece done is I haven't found an artist that I really trust around here. I may look them up next time were in Roanoke though. DH's whole family lives there.

I don't think they are. I have a rose on my forearm. I think shoulder tattoos are manly lol
