discharge, white/clear cloudy sticky discharge not thick like a yeast infection but not super watery either... its just been the last 3-4 days.. also i get alot of contractions when i stand up and sit down so would squats possibly be what would get labor going for me? or walking...? my body isnt handling the pregnancy well anymore and isnt keeping my potassium up so before medical induction my dr. wants to see what we can do without it.... any ways to get labor started would be great!! i also have a friend of my moms who is a L&D nurse and could strip my mempranes but i feel like that would be awkward lol.. should i consider it ?

You still have six weeks left. Why would labor be great?

You don't have to be induced for low potassium I had after 30 weeks with my kids they just put me on IV with some in the drip 4 weeks is way to early if nothing is life-threatening to you or baby

6 weeks? i am 36 weeks and 3 days. and i said in my post my body is not handling the pregnancy well i am losing nutrients i need to stay healthy and if i dont have it baby probably is getting bare minimum he would be better off out here where i can control the vitamins he is getting, so he doesnt have to go without!

If potassium is a problem and your doctors are concerned, they will handle it. Don't try to have the baby early. You may not be handling it well in your eyes but the doctors won't let you and the baby go without the nutrients y'all need. If anything they will give you extra supplements for said vitamins.

They don't change your due date at 18 weeks because after the first trimester all babies grow differently My baby measured 32 weeks when I went to be induced for actual medical reasons, an unresponsive heart rate for weeks, and we knew for sure I was 38 weeks

Do what you think is best for you and your baby and body. People on here kill me trying to tell women they should wait or "its too early". If you feel like getting labor going may be best for you then " do you" mami! 36 weeks isnt that early and odds are your baby will be just fine if you have her/him now. People are too judgemental about this issue on here!

I had DS at 38weeks 2 days and he had jaundice very bad and had trouble eating. The most important development of the brain eyes and lungs are done in the last few weeks of pregnancy. There were times in my pregnancy when my body went all heywire with my pregnancies and I just wanted the baby to come out because I was worried about both of our safeties but my Doctors went to school for 8 plus years so that they could make better judgement then I. IF her doctors are worried they will do something about it she should not take it upon herself to try and go into labor that is what doctors are for

Just because it happened to you doesnt mean it will happen to her. Due dates ca be off going either way. I'm not saying anyone is wrong or right... I'm saying it's not my place or anyone else's to judge. She wanted advice on how to start her labor... Not people judging her decisions on what she thinks is good for her. And by the way...Drs are not always right.
