Labor signs.

posted 4th Feb
I just started getting this weird "tingling" feeling in my stomach.
It feels kinda like my stomach is buring, like an skin irritation.. but on the inside?
kinda like heartburn in my lower stomach.

I just feel different.

Could this be the beginning of labor?

Sounds like the skin is stretching uncomfortably or something. I get this when baby moves into a new position.

I peed this morning, could I go into labor? Cause I peed in the morning last time I went into labor, too.

Honey, the only way you know for sure that labor is starting, is when either your water breaks or contractions are constant and timeable and relentless.

I've been having on/off untimable contractions for WEEKS.
so I can't really go by them at this point.

Huh? You've probably been having BH contraction's. You'll know when you're having the real deal 3mins apart contraction's.

on and off untimable contractions aren't what I said to go by, anyways. When you have constant, unrelenting, timable contractions, THAT is when you go by them. Off and on untimable contractions are just part of life in the third trimester.

You're 38 weeks pregnant honey. You could go into labor tonight, you could go in 2 weeks when you're due, you could go two weeks after that. You just don't know until it happens, and that's all there is to it.

I never had "time-able" contractions with my son either, though.
so I wouldn't know the real deal contractions.

So you never went into labor? Cause trust me honey, once you were in labor, they were timeable.

If that statement is accurate and you never went into labor and had a c-section and are hoping to VBAC this time, trust me, when you have real-deal contractions, you WILL know them.

I never had consist contractions when I was in labor.
I was dilating to full but when I was pushing they were anywhere from 2-10 minutes apart with him.

What made you go to L&D with your son?

My doctor sent me over since I was having contractions for 40 hours, even though they never stayed the same. When I got there, I was 5cm dilated, after an hour I was 7cm. so they had to keep me. I pushed for 2 hours and 17 minutes since they varied so much.

So you waited 10 minutes between pushes?

Anywhere between 2-10, depending on whenever I had a contraction.
The doctor had me push a few times when without contractions since they weren't becoming regular still. my water didn't even break on it's own and I was 9cm when the dr broke it.
