re: Labor signs.

I've NEVER heard of that happening before, EVER....the likelyhood of it happening twice, I would assume is really low.

My doctor is going to try pitocin this time around since that happened last night. no matter if I go into labor on my own or have to be induced.

he's also been trying to talk me into a c-section but I'd rather try vaginal first unless for some reason I just can't have her vaginal.

Why is he talking you into a c-section? That doesn't sound like a good doctor.

oh honey honey honey avoid pitocin at all costs. It's a horrible horrible drug that makes labor so much more painful and so much more likely to fail. The c-section rates when pitocin is used, are through the roof.

He said he doesn't think my body is made for vaginal delivery .. which I've already proven other wise with my oldest. but he thinks this will cause less stress on my body. I'm planning on laboring at home as long as possible, since he said anything after 24 hours at the hospital he will automatically do a c-section. so I want to be ready this time and only go to the hospital when I know it's time.

That's also what a lot of people have told me about it.
I'm just hoping she comes on her own and soon.
My next appointment is Wednesday.. and he mentioned before he doesn't want me going past 39 weeks if possible due to her size. but, I can delay it up to 40w 1d before he can find medical cause to induce me.

I've honestly been thinking of rescheduling my appointment until next week to avoid possible induction.

Even at 40+1 there isn't "medical need" to induce....and you don't HAVE to be induced if you don't want to be.
