gentle discipline..

My two year old is going through a "Stage"

Everything is "NO!" Especially getting dressed to leave... or at all. Well, it's effing freezing. I've tried turning it into a game (works for like pants OR shirt, etc)... time outs... waiting... I give her notice EVERY TIME. Usually with a timer...

I am at my wits end. THoughts/suggestions?

Look up conscious discipline.

I went through this too for a bit and I removed all the toys from his room which is always the place where he gets dresses and then when he refused to get dressed I shut the door and sat in the room with him, letting him know that we don't leave the room until he's dressed. Everytime he goes for the door I let him know, sure we can open the door, right after you put on your clothes. It goes back and forth a few time but he gives in eventually.
