my baby is scared of people?

My mom came and visited me today and of course wanted to hold Ally, but the second my mom picked her up she started bawling and screaming and the second I took her back she stopped crying. I thought it was just a fluke, but it happened all day whenever my mom tried to hold her. My daughter is four months old btw. I know there is no "normal" with babies, but can they just dislike certain people??

My daughter does this with people she doesn't know very well

My daughter hated everyone but me for months.   my mom, her dad, didn't matter. She just wanted me. Other people could only hold her if she was asleep lol.

She still at 3 doesn't like strangers to touch her, don't blame her there. But she knows who she can and can't trust now  

My DD does that to anyone she doesn't see regularly.
Doctors
Distant family
People in Walmart
Friends
Ect.

She started doing it around 6 months old, and she still does it at 13 months old.

I can barely hold her sometimes she prefers to be in the same room with people but just not in their arms.
