Quoting iLL-Legal Alien:" Did you tell them you noticed your blood pressure was high and you wanted to know why and what they were going to do about it? I wouldn't have left the office until they answered my questions."I didnt even get a chance to, she was in and out. I dont know how you dont say something when your patient history shows low/normal bp until the last appt and then the same thing at the current appt. How do you just ignore something like that...ugh
Quoting Red Bottom:" It's a teaching hospital. A resident is still a doctor. They do this so they can learn. Next time, just ... [snip!] ... don't say yes. Obviously they didn't think you were at risk if they told you to go home. How high was your blood pressure?"
Quoting Red Bottom:" <blockquote><b>Quoting SherryandMatt:</b>" I'm sorry, I hate how quickly some places/people ... [snip!] ... wait because you can't see anything on an ultrasound until roughly then, and the miscarriage rate is much lower at that point."I could care less about an ultrasound. I want my levels drawn especially my progesterone seeing as the only pregnancy I had to term I was on injectable progesterone for the first 3 months. And yes you can see something on u/s at 5 weeks..... I'm older with a significant history of ttc and keeping a pregnancy so it's natural to be concerned about my levels especially if it's fixable early on with supplements.
Quoting ♥ colton's mommy:" I know my OB's office is very busy & if they are overly busy he will let a resident do the heartbeat ... [snip!] ... least let you know something. Next time make sure to tell her as soon as she walks in that you have a few questions & concerns."
Quoting Red Bottom:" <blockquote><b>Quoting 1st Time Mommy-March 8th.:</b>" I dont mind that there was ... [snip!] ... about it."</blockquote> 140 isn't that bad. The resident is a doctor....there's really nothing to worry about."Yes shes a doctor...but when she cant figure out how to make a blood pressure machine to work... or how to make a doppler work...
Quoting Red Bottom:" <blockquote><b>Quoting SherryandMatt:</b>" I'm sorry, I hate how quickly some places/people ... [snip!] ... wait because you can't see anything on an ultrasound until roughly then, and the miscarriage rate is much lower at that point."Actually i saw the sac at five weeks, the heartbeat at six weeks
