Movements

posted 4th Feb
I am 39 weeks+3 days and I've always heard that the baby stops moving as much the further along you get into pregnancy. Well this just doesn't seem true for me and LO. He's so active all the time. I thought that they were supposed to be more restricted due to less space. He hurts me sometimes  ... like RIGHT NOW. He's just rolling and kicking and it hurts darn it. Hmmm... pointless post. I'm just wondering if any ladies who are as far along as I am are feeling this too. Does it mean I'll have a hyper active baby? He's so darn active. I just wish he was outside of me so I can watch him instead of feel him.

I am on my 3 rd baby now. My first 2 boys were very active up till the day they were born. They are both pretty laid back kids. My oldest is 5 and my youngest is almost 18 months. I never believed everyone saying baby calmed down later because I was always getting beat up. This pregnancy I'm only 20 weeks, so I'm wondering if this one will be like my boys. So far this one is so different from the boys.

Good luck mama. Your almost there!

I used to think it was cute how much he moved around but now it's like "Gosh boy! Can you calm down for an hour?" The only way he will be still is if I lay down... but I can't do that all day so he's up all day with me lol. I'm glad my baby isn't the only nutty one in the bunch.

Omgosh!! I'm going to stop complaining immediately. What I'm feeling seems like nothing compared to that. I couldn't imagine that at all. I didn't even know that was possible. Luckily we're almost there momma!

Lol it's something you get use to. They clear up pretty fast but I just have this bad feeling that she's a BIG girl

You're probably right about that. My doc told me my son was measured at over 5lbs 8 weeks ago and assuming that was accurate I just don't know how I'm going to push this one out. I'd do anything to avoid a c-section.

I will absolutely REFUSE a c-section unless it is MEDICALLY necessary. I am scared to death of C-sections!!

You and me both! I hate the thought of it. Idk how my mother went through 2 and a friend of mines just had her 4th! I just couldn't unless my baby was in jeopardy.

Oh my son does that when I lay down in the bath all the time. So it's possible your LO will do it again. It's so uncomfortable and not to mention, freaky looking lol.
