have i done everything i need to do

hello i am filing for divorce after finding out my husband slept with a relative behind my back, i rang the solicitor to start proceedings, i have that appointment on the 12th February, i have rang CSA (maintenance) and started that application off and i have rang any bills that are in his name and either cancelled them or put them in my name is there anything else i need to do

Maybe set up a parenting plan or whatever it's called to work out visitation and stuff? I saw your post the other day and again i'm sorry you are going through this!

Not sure if it's different where you're from, but make sure he has no rights to those kids by filing emergency custody.

Council tax? If its just you and your children (only one - you - adult under eighteen) then you are entitled to a 25% discount. Also when/now he is gone reapply for tax credits and take his name off the child benefit claim as it will be just going to you. Not much else I think you've covered most of it.

i think the solicitor will be dealing with that hun, i will find out at the appointment, he has blocked and changed all his contact details though, thank you

oh yes i did all that friday after he cleared the accounts and left the kids with nothing, it is but im getting through it x
