anti bullying

What would you do if your kid is being bullied at school and the school has yet to file any reports about it? I have spoken to the teacher all the way up to the super intendent. This has been going on since November and every morning she gives me a hard time about going to school.

The school has filed a couple of reports about when my daughter has defended herself back and hit the kid stating that she hit the kid and bit him... but didnt write down that he hit her first with his lunchbox in the head (they are 5)

im just about ready to pull her out of public school and put her in private school

Take her to another public school first. Dont give up something has to be done why didnt you talked to the principal?

I'd find a way to speak to the parents or take my child out of that school since the school isn't doing anything about it.

I agree in talking to the parents!

Wow. I didn't even know Kindergarteners behaved that way at school  The most I've heard about was my son spitting his milk on a kid at lunch (which he got in A LOT of trouble for!). I would probably try to have her transferred to a different school out of my district and just drive the extra miles. Or you could put her in private school if you can afford it, but I wouldn't assume that just because it's private school she wont be bullied.

I agree bullies can be in private and in public schools. Volunteer in the class and observe what goes on.

I'd demand a meeting with the teacher, the principal, the Superintendent and the other child's parents.

Removing the child from the school will accomplish very little.

Bullying happens everywhere unfortunately.

I would go to district and make complaints...

Is it just 1 kid bullying her??

Id raise heck. I would do whatever i needed to get the school to do somethikg. I know they are young now but a lot of times kids grow up all through school together, and we def dont want it getting out of hand. Maybe start with the parents and start preachin to anyone you can. i didnt think either...

they are so mean. i brought up cupcakes on her birthday and saw one of the girls who is bullying my daughter push some kid hard (like a full force shove) all because he was in front of her at the sink to wash his hands

Wow. What did the teacher do? Cause it kind of sounds like the teacher does not have control over that classroom. My sons teacher is the sweetest lady ever, but she is stern as all hell when the get out of line.

How did the teacher handled it? I am sure the other little girl told the teacher right?
