Omgee smh for how long forever?

I witnessed a lady come up to school with her daughter not too long ago (maybe in like December)... her daughter was getting picked on since KINDERGARTEN and the school was just starting to do something about it now... The girl is in the FOURTH GRADE.

i would love to have her switched to the other school that is 2 miles down *my SO's brothers wife works there* but I dont have 12 dollars to get there to bring her and 12 dollars to pick her up every day. (thats 4,800 a years in cab services alone)

no. the school zone that im in doesnt have homeschooling. i would have to live in the next zip code over from me to qualify

Sounds like you parents should be getting together and fighting this. Be more proactive about it. Obviously, your daughter isn't the only kid that has suffered, its an issue.

I'd just change schools first to see how the new school works for her. She's still young & its good for her to be in a social surrounding with other children.

No I mean are YOU educated enough to home school her? Home schooling is a very serious commitment and not everyone is capable of doing it. If not done right or by the right person, home schooling could definitely back fire.

Have you thought of forming a parents committee to force the school to do more?

since it started happening.

this wasnt happening in the beginning of the school year. In September-November she got along with all the kids in her class. (She tries to be friends with everyone)

Around Mid-November she started to be friends with the new girl in her class that just transfered out of state. and her bff at the time (the one who is picking on her now) didnt like her. so she pinching my daughter because she was talking to the new girl at lunch . (she has a scar on her hand because it broke skin and was bleeding).. ever since then.. she has been picked on

Yes. I would also try and hire a tutor to help with the work

Did you took pictures? Have you been writting all the dates of the incidents. It sounds more like a girly thing oh you are my friend and dont play with her.

Volunteer as much as possible and talked to the little girl and tell her is not nice and that they can all be friends ask her would she like for somebody to pinch her and not be her friend. I am sure this can be handled we are talking about 5 year olds.

 I would start volunteering more. It sounds like those rooms are out of control because the adult child ratio is so out of balance. They would probably appreciate any help they could get and it might actually help the teacher regain some control and solve some of the bullying issues...short term anyways.

I'd definitely try to speak with other parents in the area to fix the bullying issues.

I try and volunteer as much as I can. (usually once a week) because he works and I have a 1 year old

its not just pinching anymore. She hit her in the ribs.. pulled her.. bit her.
I have pics and doctors notes.
