We looked into schools before buying our house. Have to be comfortable with sending them.

That's why we aren't going there. There is no way we can afford that. The one we are hoping to get him in is $500 a month. They also have a script program to put money towards it.

I hated that damn scrip crap lol my son was at a catholic school, till he got diagnosed with adhd and odd, they pretty much black listed him till I withdrew him..
They still send the envelopes for donations...

That is how the school I went to growing up would be. The administrative team was awful. They had no diversity at all, either. I'm hoping that this school will be a better fit for Jayson. I'm excited about the script program because we have to budget and plan anyway, and my dad is a gift card junky so I'll just recruit him.

That is cheap compared to the price here, ours is $1,500 a month.

Very typical. Even for private preschool we could be paying 1025 a month. Private school is ridiculous

Ehhh saved me a good 10-12 grand a year lol...

I'm glad it happened the way it did.. I would have never thought a church of all organizations would be so harsh, but oh well their loss...

I should have known some smurf was fishy when my sonjs teacher wasn't even catholic, and the teachers aid, made enough money to put 3 kids in private catholic schools from kinder to college... lol

Lol. Not to spark a whole other debate, but there are a lot of very strict Catholic's and born again Christians that are supposed to promote equality and no judging, etc. But end up being the most judgemental and unaccepting people. I've met a bunch. Not all are, obviously.

I don't want to sound like a dumbass... but I was completely shocked when I realized, *word for word* what u just said... and the smurfed up part was it was the cops who told me that, when they were investigating the report the school made to cps, that there's no way my son would act the way he did, if there wasn't something terrible going on at home...

I'm not sure if you bare agreeing or disagreeing with what I said, but I strongly believe what I said to be factual. I can't believe the cops would say that or that they would call cps over behavioral issues.

I do believe what u said, I'm mad I was so nieve to think everyone would be completely loving and accept Dean, for the hot mess he is... especially since above all things I was paying them to have to deal with him...
It baffles me, they teach the kids about how Jesus was soo forgiving and caring about *everyone* just not the crazy 1s that can't sit in a chair or have the attention span to do 10 math problems in less than a minute...

Wow! I pay $2500 a year for my son in a private school here in australia!
